New photo of Ximoio de Maripa! Hawke’s sire is maturing into a beautiful horse. All of the photos show 3 feet on the ground, the sign of a smooth gait.
Beethoven do Summerwind (buckskin) carries the banner in a July parade in Canada. It was almost a parade of breeds with a paint, TWH and Friesian in the group. Thanks Laurie!

Brasilia do Summerwind – look at that movement – it’s great!
It’s time to get back to work! Azenha de Maripa.
He’s growing up! Hawke do Summerwind is 1 of 2 Azenha foals in 2013. His half-brother is doing okay after the tragic death of his surrogate mother last month.

La Paz JIvago x Azenha de Maripa. Frozen embryo transfer.
Eoghan (Owen) is loving the herding practice he gets. The horses don’t seem to care. So far everyone has been good!

Our flower gardens are gorgeous this year! And timed to bloom all summer and fall too.
Marion sends her MM gelding working cattle in WY. Great photo! We imported Violeiro de Itajoana from Brasil. For anyone who follows bloodlines, he is the son of Festa AJ, so a half-brother to Laio de Maripa.
Adrienne came to visit us, ride and of course, most importantly, spend time with Gaia do Summerwind, her 8 month old filly.
Fidalgo do Summerwind – First time with a saddle in June! Only 2 years old, he won’t be started under saddle for another year. Photo from owner, Lynn Boone, NC.

FIRE in Pagosa Springs gets all of our attention! While we are not threatened, it’s still burning and now over 100,000 acres.
Koyote Libertas – we love the mud! It means it started raining here and we really really need it!
Hawke do Summerwind, Ximoio de Maripa’s first foal in the US using imported frozen semen. We just love this sweet guy!
One of our H babies – Hallelujah in NC. This little filly is doing great! The perfect combination of beauty, gait and athleticism! Photo from Jeff and Michelle Bosley, SW Future Foal @ Lumberbridge.
