We’re proud of how far we’ve come together, and we’re even more excited about what lies ahead. As you may know, John and I have been searching for a New England home for several years to be close to family. John’s brother Ed passed away before we got back there, which only increased the pressure to find something. We are moving to a farm in Litchfield CT. It is not set up with fencing or a barn yet, but we feel with 40ish acres, it will be perfect for the Marchadors and for our family.
We hope to create a MM retirement center, breeding and education center in 2026 and 2027. Plus, we have a greenhouse, an orchard, and we will be adding bees and other animals!
Arizona, Colorado and Texas continue to make their mark with Marchador breeding and training centers. I plan to visit as often as possible. We have sold our beautiful Colorado ranch to Sean Albach, who will be breeding and training Mangalarga Marchadors there. Sean has worked with our horses for several years and has the skills, knowledge and youth to push the Colorado ranch to new levels of excellence.
Here’s to a new year filled with growth, connection, and opportunities to create even more memories.
