Genetic Synopsis:    – Gaia’s color is heterozygous for Grey.   Her base coat is homozygous black, but also homozygous for the agouti allele (which modifies the base coat to push black to the extremities).  She tested negative for any recessive genetic disease alleles.

Gaia do Summerwind made history when she was born – our first Marchador born from imported Brazilian semen.   Oma de Maripa stamped her in his image and she is one big, strong Marchador mare.    Striking to look at, many people will approach to find out what breed she is if she is at a show or event.   Gaia has a sweet disposition and lots of confidence that she will pass on to her foals.

Breed to Gaia for great results – for looks, for temperament, for strong conformation and a pleasing gait.   Gaia has been competing with her owner in Working Equitation and pleasing visitors and guests to the ranch by posing for photos!

Gaia’s pedigree shows a mix of bloodlines:  Maripa (a blend of Abaiba, Bela Cruz and  Herdade),  L.J. (JB derivative), Tabatinga and Mar.  She is the granddaughter of ELITE stallions and mares on both sides of her pedigree.
