Not too many photos in November – a bad month. A very high fever illness brought back from a QH show swept the barn and even our somewhat isolated Marchadors fell ill. It was horrid and long, but everyone kept eating and drinking so that was positive.

New photo of Ximoio de Maripa! Hawke’s sire is maturing into a beautiful horse. All of the photos show 3 feet on the ground, the sign of a smooth gait.

He’s growing up! Hawke do Summerwind is 1 of 2 Azenha foals in 2013. His half-brother is doing okay after the tragic death of his surrogate mother last month.

Eoghan (Owen) is loving the herding practice he gets. The horses don’t seem to care. So far everyone has been good!
Our flower gardens are gorgeous this year! And timed to bloom all summer and fall too.

I tried a new routine training from horseback. So far, it is working out. I have become the human horse walker in a sense.
